La Casa Carlotta is a private ground-floor apartment set within a beautifully restored casa colonica in the Musone Valley in Le Marche, with sweeping views across to the historic hilltop town of Cingoli, known as “Il Balcone delle Marche.”

Our dream of owning and restoring a traditional Italian home led us to this region, which already held deep personal meaning for our family. 

When we discovered what is now La Casa Carlotta, we fell in love instantly. With the help of an architect friend, we carefully transformed the original ground-floor stables into a self-contained living space, preserving the character of the building while creating a relaxed, contemporary retreat.

THE HOUSE, LA CASA CARLOTTA

Renovated Farmhouse

We instantly fell in love with this beautiful old countryside property, tucked away near Cingoli and overlooking open fields. With its character, history, and peaceful setting, we knew it was something special. We carefully restored the building and transformed it into two spacious apartments, while keeping many of the features that make it feel so unique and welcoming.

The ground-floor apartment, once the original stables, now provides comfortable accommodation for up to eight guests. Whether you’re gathering with family, enjoying a holiday with friends, or simply looking for a place to slow down and reconnect, we’ve tried to create a space that feels relaxed, homely, and full of character.

Inside, you’ll find all the comforts needed for an enjoyable stay, including Wi-Fi, a Smart TV, and a fully equipped relaxed living space. 

Families are especially welcome here. We know how much easier travelling can be with little ones when the essentials are already provided, so two highchairs and a travel cot are available on request. A cot can also be arranged if needed.

Fresh bed linen and towels are provided for all guests. We simply ask that you bring your own beach towels, along with any personal items you may wish to have for your first day.

Above all, we hope you’ll feel at home here and enjoy the same sense of peace and charm that first made us fall in love with this special place.

The property is surrounded by a large private garden, enclosed by natural hedging and mature trees that gives the whole space a genuine sense of seclusion.

Access is through remote-controlled wooden gates opening onto generous parking and uninterrupted countryside views.

Kitchen

A light, open space fitted with modern appliances and everything you need for home cooking. The dining area looks out over the garden, making it a perfect spot for relaxed meals.

Lounge

Warm tones, soft seating, and plenty of natural light create a space made for unwinding. Whether it’s reading by the window or gathering for a film, the lounge is set up for comfort.

Each of our two bright and spacious double bedrooms also has a comfortable additional day bed. There is a further small twin room suited for younger children and a comfortable double sofa bed in one of the lounge areas.

Swimming Pool

With a private swimming pool, two hammocks and ample garden space this is the perfect place for sunbathing, going for a swim or lounging on the outdoor sofa with a glass of wine.

We have a fully equipped kitchen, indoor and outdoor dining tables and a BBQ available to use for dining at home. There is also a selection of incredible restaurants within a short drive serving traditional Marchigiana cuisine and local wines.

  • The swimming pool is private for your exclusive use but is not heated.

  • Yes. Wi-Fi is available, although speeds can occasionally be affected by our rural location and the property's thick stone walls. It's the perfect excuse to switch off and enjoy your holiday!

  • Yes. The countryside is wonderfully tranquil, although rural life comes with its own natural soundtrack. You may hear farmers working in nearby fields, sheep grazing, birds singing, cicadas, frogs in the evenings, the occasional barking dog, or farm vehicles passing by.
